Answers to all of these questions can be found here in Millett Special Events Here are a few examples: in 1973, in cooperation with the Illinois Arts Council, she successfully raised all the funding for Made in Chicago, The U.S. Contribution to the Sao Paulo Biennial. In 1984 at the University of the Arts, she was responsible for planning and directing charity balls, auctions, and art exhibitions (including Ettore Sottsass' Memphis group). In 2007 Millett co-marketed an exhibition of Chuck Connelly's oil paintings by bringing together Saks Fifth Avenue and the Knapp Gallery of Philadelphia. CBS television covered the event and provided the clip below. Most recently she opened the Caroline Dunlop Millett Gallery on Artnet, as well as her private “salon style” gallery in Philadelphia on Valentines Day 2009. “Holocaust & Revival”, featuring Libby Newman, inaugurated the gallery. Libby Newman’s work is available on Artnet or feel free to contact us personally. Caroline Millett is available to custom tailor your very own project. She works with both profit and non-profit organizations, as well as small groups, on a case by case basis. |
