Selected ProjectVilla in Anguilla"In late 1992, I bought a big almost-finished villa on the rocks above the sea in Anguilla. Caroline Millett responded to the call, came to Anguilla, and took charge. She has made only one major - but vital - construction change, moving the entrance to the East, thus creating a needed computer room, and opening up the entrance hall to provide an initial sight of spectacular "Great Room" with its greenheart roof, fine sea views, and the sweep of bookcases she designed. Now, people come by and ask to see what she has wrought, from the Great Room to the Rock Room below, and the two guest-admired suites for visitors." "Working with Millett is not a struggle of wills. Instead, she wants the client to be happy living in his house, not in some magazine display, she endorsed my preference for natural colors, installed needed bookcases everywhere, designed and supervised lights, kitchen cabinets, and all the rest. For the last 13 years she has subtly improved the original design. Reccently she added a big screened dining porch with its ocean views North and West (dubbed the Millett Veranda in her honor). Score her at least 99 out of a possible 100." - Robert N. Kharasch U.S. Warden, Anguilla, BWI.
